Match Report: Atletico Madrid 3- Sevilla 1

Antoine Griezmann scored brilliant freekick as Atletico close gap on Sevilla.

 Atletico won Sevilla 3 goals to 1 in a very important encounter for both the sides.
Diego Godin headed home the first goal after finishing Griezmann's cross.
Later in the second half Griezmann scored a stunning freekick, as the ball kissed the cross-bar and went in. Later Koke sealed the 3 points for Atletico by finishing a simple effort. Joaquin Correa managed to grab a consolation goal for Sevilla.
Fernando Torres returned to the pitch after his horrific injury he suffered two weeks back.

Atléti delivers trademark performance against Olympique de Marseille to clinch their third UEL After two hard defeats in the champions league finals, it was a sentimental game for Atlético Madrid to overcome those defeats. Well, Antoine Griezmann ensured Atléti lifts the European trophy this time. The french man struck twice as the los rojiblancos outclassed hapless Olympique de Marseille 3 - 0.  Atletico Madrid celebrates lifting the trophy. Marseille dominated the opening stages but gifted Atletico the lead when Zambo Anguissa failed to control goalkeeper Steve Mandanda's pass and Gabi intercepted before setting Griezmann free to score. Four minutes into the second half, Koke ran through the space in the Marseille midfield and slipped the ball to Griezmann who dinked the ball into the net, and captain Gabi added a late third to hand Atletico a comfortable victory.
