Atlético knocks out Leicester City to enter Semi-Finals

Atlético Madrid enter their 3rd champions league semi finals in 4 years.

Saúl Ñiguez scored for Atléti as they drew 1-1 against Leicester and progress to semifinals on 2-1 aggregate. The midfielder headed in 26th minute to give Atlético crucial away goal advantage.
Jamie Vardy equalized for foxes in the second half and the match ended 1-1 with glory for Atléti.

Atlético reach their third UCL semis in 4 consecutive years. The visitors ended foxes fairytale by qualifying on away goal advantage. However Leicester gave an improved​ performance, but wasn't enough to take them further.

Atletico Madrid gives Vicente calderón an emotional farewell

Atléti fanboy Fernando Torres scored twice as Atléti won their last ever match at the Vicente calderón stadium. The atmosphere was electric before kickoff and as Fernando Torres struck a double in the first period, it was a fairy tale opening for Atléti family.  Torres could not have written a better script. Two goals in the first 11 minutes ensured there was a  fiesta  at the Calderon. He was  subbed on the hour, but the ovation he got was as loud as they come and many fans shed their tears.  Legend Tiago played his last game for rojiblancos.
