Match Report: Chelsea FC 2 - Manchester City 1

Eden Hazard's double takes Chelsea a step towards glory.

Eden hazard fired the league leaders Chelsea to an important victory over Pep's Man City yesterday at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard opened the score at the 10th minute of the game, and sixteen minutes later Sergio Aguero leveled the score to 1-1. 
In 35th minute Hazard failed to score from the spot-kick, but thanks to Willy as the ball rebounded and Hazard restored the lead for Chelsea. Finally, the match ended 2-1 with smiles all around Stamford Bridge.

“Another step, a big step, against a great team,” Conte said. “We must think that Tottenham could win all their games. We are playing a great season but to win the title there is a long way to go.”
Guardiola added: “We created enough to score goals. It’s our problem. In the boxes we are not good enough.”

The match ended 2-1 and Chelsea are 7 pts clear.

Match Report: Atlético Madrid 1 - 0 Leicester City

Antoine Griezmann gives Atlético narrow advantage vs Leicester. Antoine Griezmann scored from the spot kick for Atléti, as they lead 1-0 in the quarters of the champions League, with second leg to be played at King power stadium on 19th April. Albrighton fouled Griezmann and the ref awarded penalty for Atlético Madrid. The goal took Griezmann to 24 goals this season with 2 goals from last 2 games. Atlético players celebrate the only goal of the game  Leicester City's Jamie Vardy was isolated throughout the game. The visitors did not have much of the ball and created very few chances. However Leicester improved their performance in the second half, making Atlético hard to create scoring opportunities. Atlético Madrid supporters enjoyed a great game and supported their team by displaying" Nada Más que tú " - Nothing other than you.  The second leg decides whether Atlético can make it to the semis. Diego Costa Dents Arsène Wenger's European Dream

Atlético Madrid beat Arsenal 1-0 (2-1 agg) to reach Europa league finals . Diego costa scored the only goal of the game. With all eyes set on Arsène Wenger's hopes of bowing out with a European trophy, were destroyed by Diego Costa - A familiar foe and a familiar story.  Arsenal did everything but managed only one shot on target, that came off Granit Xhaka's long range effort, while Diego Costa ran chaos in the Arsenal defence. Griezmann, deep in the right flank, fizzed a diagonal cross to Costa who muscled his way to put the ball in the net. Soon it was game over as Atléti concedes rarely at home. Earlier in the game, Laurent Koscielny was stretched off after suffering achilles injury. Chambers replaced injured Kosciely but was unable to stop Costa.
