Match Report: Las Palmas 0 - Atlético Madrid 5

Atlético Madrid trash Las palmas by displaying high-5 performance. Atletico Madrid beat Las palmas after a brilliant start with three goals in opening 18 minutes. Kevin Gameiro struck twice and Saul headed the third goal to take a 3-0 lead at half time in  Estadio Gran Canaria  . In the final quarter of the game Thomas scored his first goal of this season and t he last goal was scored by Torres after a good play initiated by Thomas and Filipe Luis provided the assist.  A victory was important for atletico, as they had lost to Villareal at home in the previous game. Atletico started the match strongly and totally controlled the match to earn their vital 3 points. Atlético knocks out Leicester City to enter Semi-Finals

Atlético Madrid enter their 3rd champions league semi finals in 4 years. Saúl Ñiguez scored for Atléti as they drew 1-1 against Leicester and progress to semifinals on 2-1 aggregate. The midfielder headed in 26th minute to give Atlético crucial away goal advantage. Jamie Vardy equalized for foxes in the second half and the match ended 1-1 with glory for Atléti. Saúl celebrating his goal against Leicester Atlético reach their third UCL semis in 4 consecutive years. The visitors ended foxes fairytale by qualifying on away goal advantage. However Leicester gave an improved​ performance, but wasn't enough to take them further. Saúl heading his goal. Atlético must wait till Friday to know whom they might play in the semi finals. Match Report: Atlético Madrid 3 - 0 Osasuna

Atlético Madrid celebrate día del niño with a victory. Atlético might live in the shadows of Real Madrid, but they do have a large fan base. Los rojiblancos dedicated the game to their little fans by celebrating children's day - día del niño. Many cute little Atléti fans showed up at the Calderon in red and white uniform of Atlético. They showed how passionate they are towards their club. Yannick Ferriera Carrasco scored twice and Filipe Luis scored once which gave Atléti a comfortable victory over Osasuna. Carrasco scored from outside the box just before half hour mark and he headed his second goal just after start of second half. Carrasco celebrates his strike. Filipe Luis scored Atlético's third goal after he slotted Correa's assist past Osasuna keeper Sirigu. Atlético were comfortable, and yet again Jan oblak had nothing to do and kept a clean sheet. Match Report: Atlético Madrid 1 - 0 Leicester City

Antoine Griezmann gives Atlético narrow advantage vs Leicester. Antoine Griezmann scored from the spot kick for Atléti, as they lead 1-0 in the quarters of the champions League, with second leg to be played at King power stadium on 19th April. Albrighton fouled Griezmann and the ref awarded penalty for Atlético Madrid. The goal took Griezmann to 24 goals this season with 2 goals from last 2 games. Atlético players celebrate the only goal of the game  Leicester City's Jamie Vardy was isolated throughout the game. The visitors did not have much of the ball and created very few chances. However Leicester improved their performance in the second half, making Atlético hard to create scoring opportunities. Diego Simeone's Atlético have reached the quarter finals of the champions league for the fourth consecutive time. They have won last 6 of their 8 champions league game. Atlético have also kept 15 clean sheets of their last 17 games at Vicente Calderón Stadium. Today they take on Leicester City in the quarters at Vicente Calderón Stadium and the second leg will be played at King power stadium next week. Match Report: Real Madrid 1 - Atlético Madrid 1

Antoine Griezmann ignites la liga title race. Madrid derby, one of the biggest games in football ends in a 1-1 draw as both the teams shares the points. Antoine Griezmann cancelled Pepe's opener to help Atléti retain 3rd place as well as giving Barcelona hope in the title race. The first half ended goalless, thanks to Stefan Savic for stopping Cristiano Ronaldo's goal with one of the greatest goal line clearance of all time. Jan oblak made a couple of impressive saves to keep real madrid goalless. In the second half, Pepe headed home the lead from Toni Kroos free-kick. After giving away the lead Atléti started to attack. Fernando Torres was denied by Navas and Griezmann saw his amazing over head bicycle kick stopped by the real keeper.                   In 85' minute Griezmann scored for the rojiblancos, and dedicated his goal to his daughter who turns one year old today. Match Report: Chelsea FC 2 - Manchester City 1

Eden Hazard's double takes Chelsea a step towards glory. Eden hazard fired the league leaders Chelsea to an important victory over Pep's Man City yesterday at  Stamford Bridge . Hazard opened the score at the 10th minute of the game, and sixteen minutes later Sergio Aguero leveled the score to 1-1.  In 35th minute Hazard failed to score from the spot-kick, but thanks to Willy as the ball rebounded and Hazard restored the lead for Chelsea. Finally, the match ended 2-1 with smiles all around  Stamford Bridge . Hazard after scoring the second goal. “Another step, a big step, against a great team,” Conte said. “We must think that Tottenham could win all their games. We are playing a great season but to win the title there is a long way to go.” Guardiola added: “We created enough to score goals. It’s our problem. In the boxes we are not good enough.” The match ended 2-1 and Chelsea are 7 pts clear.
